Long live the trees!

I’d like to share something close to my heart: I’ve recently become an ambassador for the latest campaign of the Hungarian NGO, 10 millió Fa Alapítvány. (They’re the team behind GreenGo e-carsharing’s amazing tree-planting initiatives, in case that rings a bell.)
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been in awe of nature—especially trees. (Above is my analogue pic of my current fav one in Vienna, an over 100-year-old Sequoia, just next to the Belvedere.)
I truly believe that planting trees is one of the coolest and most meaningful acts we can take for our planet today. So when I was invited to join this initiative, I didn’t think twice.
I’m currently fundraising a modest amount: €110 (around 45,000 HUF), which will cover the planting of 15 saplings (€7.5 per tree).
The goal of the campaign is to plant 2,800 trees this autumn at the site of the Ördögkatlan Fesztivál, one of Hungary’s most beloved art festivals, with programmes for all ages and top-notch performances. It also happens to be near my favourite wine region, Villány.
(& fun fact: I used to perform there back when I was a professional actor. Evidence will be found below.)

So if you feel like supporting this wonderful green cause, any contribution - small or large - would be warmly welcomed and will go directly to a meaningful purpose.

Thanks so much for considering, and long live the trees!
